Make a Difference

The Great American Bike Rally was brought to life by an unnamed cancer survivor. This individual is an extremely active cyclist who challenged a group of like-minded cycling enthusiasts to simply make a difference in a child’s or challenged individuals’ life. His hope was to combine dual passions of helping others and cycling into a fundraiser to support our base mission. This challenge led to the gestation of the idea of conducting an “intercity” fundraising bike rally, which could showcase the tremendous asset of the Great Miami Trail System connecting our two cities, Hamilton and Fairfield, AND to serve to raise funds for local charities.

The Joe Nuxhall Miracle Fields campus adjoining both Hamilton and Fairfield continues to grow its mission of providing character building recreational activities for children and adults who otherwise would not be able to experience them. Likewise, the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton continues its mission “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Thanks to both our Sponsors and Riders we have been able to stay true to our mission. In our first year, we were able to give $5,000 to both The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields and the Boys & Girls Club of Hamilton, INC! To date we have donated over $40,000 to local Butler County Charities!
